I'm a massive fan of cooking with our Wok. It is so easy and delicious. You basically just throw everything in and in the end you have a fabulous meal.
We mostly make it with chicken and lots of veggies. As a side dish we make rice, couscous or (just like this time) wok noodles.
So here we go, for this dish you will need:
Veggies of your choice (we used this time Bell Peppers, Onion, Cabbage, Carrots, Garlic and Sweet Corn), you can use basically everything you like
Red Curry Paste
Water and Milk
First you cut your chicken breast into small pieces and put it in a bowl. Then put Soy Sauce and Red Curry Paste in, mix everything together and let it rest as long as possible.
In the meanwhile chop up your veggies into small pieces...
... and cook you noodles.
Then you can heat up your Wok and put a little bit of vegetable oil in. When it is hot you can put the chicken in.
When is starts getting brown and crunchy I like to put peanut butter in, but just half a table spoon.
After the meat is done, put it out into a bowl and let it rest.
Now it is time for you veggies. I started with the carrots (because they take the longest) and then one after the other I put the rest in.
When the veggies are nearly done, I put the chicken and the sweetcorn back in and mix it all together. I season it with soy sauce, pepper and curry powder.
In the end it is time for the noodles. Again mix everything together. Then I like to have a bit of a sauce so i just put water and a bit of milk in. Let it cook for some more minutes and then.... enjoy!
I am not a morning person....not at all. If there is nothing special I have to do that day (just like now, I have holidays), getting out of bed early, is not easy for me.
But when I'm finally up, the first thing I need is of course my breakfast, no day without it.
After eating it is time for my morning coffee and my book (you see, I really have to start the day slowly).
Right now I'm reading a book by Kathy Reichs, I love her, love the way she writes. You just get suck into the book and you can't stop!
Do you have and good book recommondations for me?
Long time no seeing. I was home for a few days and had no computer with me, again a nice relaxing time without too much Internet.
Today I would like to tell you about my hair.
At the following picture you can see my hair. I made it ombré in fall, so only the top half is my original colour. The bottom half i lighter as you can see, but it is not really blond, it is "red- ish", because I have a red undertone in my hair. I love my ombré look, the hair gets much more depth.
I don't use any special or fancy products in my hair, it is happy with whatever i use.
I wash my hair every other day with whatever shampoo I have, right now it is one from Balea. Then I always use a conditioner. After my shower I take them up in a towel and wait a few minutes. Then I use a Volume Mouse from L'Oreal. It does not really give me volume, but texture. In the end I put a moisturising milk in my ends, because they are rough handled due to the dying.
That is all I use, except sometimes of course some hairspray.
So my bed looks like that right now:
It is covered with clothes and the clothing piles are still growing and growing.
I'm going home in a few days (for about a week and a half) and I am an "early packer". Mostly I take way too many things with me, but this time i really try to take full outfits, so I wont have like 100 unnecessary shirts with me.
How do you guys pack? Outfits or just random clothing items?
Today I got from my brothers girlfriend a late birthday gift. My birthday was a month ago (on the 31. of December) and her present finally arrived.
It is this amazing bag one of her colleagues makes on his own. I love it! It is so colourful and happy and has a perfect size for me!
In the inside it has several smaller pockets and a key chain (really important for me now, because some weeks ago i lost my key!).
