Let's talk about my summer 2014:
So in July I was working full time back in my hometown. I had this "summer job" for 4 years and I still love it. I'm in contact with a lot of people from all over the world and get to speak 3 different languages with them. I had to work on the weekends as well and whenever I had a day off, the weather was bad, so July was not really summer for me.
In August I had to do some stuff for Uni and I had to work my "normal" student job. So I was in the city a lot, but we went back home nearly every weekend. So a lot of stressful days. In the end of August we wanted to book Last Minute a trip south, but we couldn't find a perfect location for a good price. So we stayed in our hometown for a week... and we had the worst summer weather ever.
In September I made another internship. I loved it, but I was in the office 8 to 5, during the most beautiful last days of summer. Then in the last days of September I finished my Bachelor's Studies. So I'm officially done with that, but I decided to start a Master's Studies this semester.
All in all I was working a lot this summer, therefor I didn't really have a nice and relaxing summer.
I still loved my summer, but now I'm in desperate need of a relaxing getaway (perfect time of the year huh? my semester has just started and my next holidays are at Christmas)!
Summer is officially over, a new season (and semester at Uni) has started. I haven't been present on the blog for the last 3 months. I've already said in my last blogpost, that I don't feel very inspired to write, or I just didn't know what to write about. I can't say that my inspiration is fully back, but my motivation for writing definitely is!!
I think the content of my blog will change a bit, but I'm not sure in which direction I wanna go... we will see. There are so many things in my head I wanna tell you and talk to you
about, I just don't know yet, how I should "present" them to you.
My next post will be a little recap of what had happened in those last months (It will be up later next week!).
So, onto a new beginning with A Dash Of Anna... may the future bring a lot of inspiration for me and all of you!
so I'm back with a really quick post. It's the end of the semester and I'm about to finish my bachelor thesis right now. So I'm sitting at home in front of the computer all day long and try to focus, no that easy having such an amazing weather outside.
Today I'll show you some favourites of mine of these past weeks:
First of all my new Nike Frees. I finally found a pair and colour I liked and I got the most amazing deal on them. I don't use them for running, because I don't think they are good for my knees (I need more support). But I wear the for work (I have to stand all the time), casual walks and at home workouts. They are really comfy and just perfect for running around all day.
Infused Water: I love it. All I drink is water and it is a nice change when it has a bit of a taste. Normally I put cucumber, basil and strawberries in.
Smoothies: All kinds of them. This one here is banana, dates and melon, but I usually use whatever fruits I have at home.
As for the fact I'm inside all day on such beautiful days I have to get a tan from somewhere else, so I bought Dove's Sunshine Selftanning Bodylotion. It works, it gives a nice colour, just perfect.
When i leave the house I usually only wear a tinted moisturiser like my Origins Vita Zing SPF15. It gives a nice coverage without being too heavy on the face. Awesome for those hot summer days.
When it comes to nail polish right now I'm only wearing those 2 colour. Both are from S-He Stylezone. One is a pinkish-red and the other one is just a basic white.
The last thing is this necklace. i got it from my parents for my birthday in December and I love it. It is a fossil ammonite out of lime rock and it is about 200 million years old.
