H&M Wishlist #1

Because the weather has changed from sunny and warm to rainy and colder, it seems like fall is coming very soon. So it decided it is time to go shopping again. I was looking around on the H&M site and found some really nice stuff.

Black and white striped Shirt (I absolutely love stripes!)

 Jeans Blouse
 Dark Blue Cardigan
 Little Black Bag
 Dark Red Loop Scarf
 Black Heels
White Shirt

I know these are not really things for fall, but i always have to check the sale section!
We will see if one of those things will find the way into my closet!

Beans, beans, beans...

Hello everyone,
So again, it has been a long time since my last post, but our Internet decided not to work anymore.
But today it is working, so time for a quick post, about food, again, I know :)

In summer there are so many vegetables and fruits growing in my parents garden and when something is ready, we eat it immediately.
Just like these green beans.
We often make them as a starter, with bacon or with breadcrumbs or, just like in this case, with both:

At first you steam the beans over hot water for about 15 to 20 minutes.

During the last 5 minutes you can start to roast small pieces of bacon and the breadcrumbs. When the beans are done, take them into the pan and mix everything together, a little bit of salt and pepper and enjoy!

When I was in Spain i ate a lot of amazing tapas in different cities and bars. One of my favourite was Salmorejo, a cold tomato soup.

Back home the weather is hot, so a cold soup for lunch is perfect.

You need (for about 4 to 6 persons)
- 1,0 kg tomatoes
- half of an old baguette
- 1-2 cloves of garlic (depending on how "strong" you want it)
- salt and pepper
- herbs like basil, thyme, marjoram, etc.
- 1 tsp. of vinegar
- 8 tsp. of olive oil

for the topping hard boiled eggs or tuna or ham/prosciutto

So mix the tomatoes with salt, pepper, herbs, vinegar and the garlic in the mixer.
Then soak the old and hard baguette in the mixture and wait some minutes until it is soft and mix again. The put the oil in and mix it all again. Store in in the fridge until it is cold.

You can serve it with prosciutto and hard boiled eggs, or tuna and bread, whatever you prefer.
And then enjoy! :)

I'm back

Hello everyone,
So I'm back. I know it has been a long time. I was in Spain for 3 weeks and I thought i would have Internet but i didn't. Then I came back home to Austria and the weather was hot and sunny, so not my favourite "surfing in the Internet" weather.
All in all I had a long time off the world wide web. But now I'm back with some photos of my trip to Spain.

I stayed in Conil de la Frontera for 3 weeks and went to a language school to learn Spanish. So if you're looking for a really nice school with friendly teachers, i can recommend the "Academia Andaluza".
I went there on my own, but my family has friends there and I met the some times and we made some trips to other cities.

(: Anna
